If you have had enough of the water parc, beach or surfing, why not just leave the coast and drive out of Figuera to the top of the wooded hill called Serra da Boa Viagem. Built in the pine forest is a park of wire rope slides going through the trees. This is a well managed park catering for all ages and a great afternoon out.


“Luso Adventure” Park Radical

Features pathways suspended in the trees. Located in the Serra da Boa Viagem. Park “Luso Adventure” where Pathways Suspended In The Trees, using ropes, cables and wooden bridges on steel wires, an area of approximately 2,000 m2. The park is open between 9:00 a.m. and 21:00 in summer.

There are 4 different routes:- Green, Yellow, Blue and Red – with various levels of difficulty ‘in height between 3 and 12 meters.

One of the routes – RED, the most demanding in physical terms – begins with a climb up a platform, followed by crossing a wooden bridge suspended by ropes. challenging the adventurous by sliding a steel cable to the obstacle ahead, a “spider web” built in and rope stretched between two trees to several meters from the ground.

After overcoming other obstacles, including tunnels of wood or networks, the journey ends with a drop in “slide of 85 meters in length. to the floor, again by a steel cable.

Before beginning the events people have a first class training and then are accompanied by eight park assistants. Throughout the journey participants are permanently linked by safety harnesses to the cables.

There are about 300 metres of pathways suspended in the trees, including a section, with just over one meter tall, aimed at smaller children.

Tickets cost 20 euros and provide about three hours of fun.
